I love birds. I really love parrots.
Macaws are probably my favorite kind of parrots. Any time I’ve gotten to see one up close, they always seem to have their own personalities.
There was a girl in the Mutual of Omaha building at the zoo giving animal demonstrations throughout the day, mainly for the kids, but all the adults were all fascinated as well.
The first animal she brought out was a scarlet macaw. She let all the kids pet him, and the adults, myself included, wanted to pet him too. 
She told him to wave to me so I could take a picture.
I got quite a few pictures of him, so I put together an album.
